Getting cash from ATMs poses no problems. At this moment the currency still is the Lithuanian lita, but it won't take long until they have the euro.

If you know in advance which places you're going to visit, you can find out online if and where there are ATM's where you can use your MasterCard and Cirrus or Visa to withdraw money.

Language

Lithuania has its own language. Even menus are often hard to understand. Just ask. Most people speak some English or German. If you speak Russian, they'll understand, but let people know you are a foreigner, or you'll get nasty looks.
